Javelin at 38 Market Hill Sudbury was opened in October 2002. Having traded in Sudbury for over 30 years the Clayton family, now represented by Jeremy and Joanna Clayton wish to maintain a strong presence in the town after the retirement of Jeremy's father Bob and the closure of Sudbury Sports, which Bob had run since 1968.

The result is an updating of the old sports shop into a remarkable retailing environment that is at once modern, airy and spacious while retaining the charm of a lovely old building. As well as men's and women's fashion, there are an extensive range shoes and lots of interesting accessories.

The sales team led by Andrea George and Andrew Ashman are particularly proud of their new store and will endeavour to give friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service.
